If you mix up the pedals on your own car, maybe you shouldn’t have a car!

Back in high school, I knew a person who told me that the only reason she got her driver’s license was because she cried and screamed at the person providing the test until they gave her a passing grade. In the brief time I knew her, she got into several accidents.

Now, whenever I see a car accident, I wonder how many people similarly scammed their way into a license — how many drivers on the road are just coasting on a vague familiarity with driving, putting all of us at risk while tailgating every single car they see.

On a related note, this woman claimed that she “got her pedals mixed up.” As a result, she crashed straight through a building.
